GetKeyDown is a one-button dungeon crawler that is playable on browser or mobile devices. Explore a dimly-lit dungeon, defeat monsters, level up and find the key to escape, all with only one button!

The game was developed as a research prototype to explore the process of developing game mechanics around the accessibility needs of a user that experiences motor impairment following a stroke. Therefore, the entire game is playable with only one hand and one button. This includes navigation, combat, and all of the user-interface! This presented an interesting design challenge, and explored how extreme design constraints can nurture creative game design solutions.
